List file is necessary if you are using the /L key, for example to force the program to show the selected images from different folders (check Command Line Key List chapter of PhotoPoint built-in help system for the description of all keys). With list file, the program will show such images as though they are all in same folder.

List file is containing your image file names with or without the path, one name per line. The path is not required if the images pointed by list file are in same folder as the list file itself. Otherwise the path is obligatory. It can be both relative and full (for CD recording it can be ONLY relative).

Example. Prepare Image List file according to your image collection structure:
Let us consider the example of list file creation. Assume that your images are placed to folders:
C:\Program Files\Cresotech PHOTOPOINT\MyPics
C:\Program Files\Cresotech PHOTOPOINT\OtherPics

You are going to place your image list file to work folder of PhotoPoint (full path: C:\Program Files\Cresotech PHOTOPOINT). In such case your list file may look like this:

MyPics/Flowers.jpg
MyPics/Natasha.jpg
MyPics/Pine.jpg
MyPics/Tree.jpg
MyPics/UlyaAndDog.jpg
OtherPics/Zebra1.jpg

These paths are RELATIVE; they are indicating where the program should search for images in relation to current location of Image List file itself (imagelist.txt). This form is suitable for CD recording. Use Windows Explorer standard tool to move/copy your files and create necessary directories; use Notepad (or Wordpad) standard tool to create the list file.

Now you can use your Image List file:
Run PhotoPoint from the command line (system Start/Run option) or through specially created desktop shortcut with the following key:

C:\Program Files\Cresotech PHOTOPOINT\CRTECHPP.exe /L"imagelist.txt"
